Richard "Dick" H Jenrette lived at the historic Roper House Charleston, South Carolina.

Above Photograph of the Roper House taken between 1874, when Rudolph Siegling, a successful lawyer and president of The News and Courier, purchased the property and August 1886, when a devastating earthquake struck the city, destroying the colonnade of the neighboring William Ravenel House and causing serious damage to the Roper House.
