Joseph Peirce Johnson (1834-1862) son of Capt. Nathaniel Johnson (1799- 1884) and Almira Pierce (1804-1905). He married Keziah Wood daughter of Myles Wood and Melinda Montjoy, at Northborough, Worcester County, Massachusetts. He was a member of "The Clinton Guards."
